The issues that some sellers were experiencing with Square’s card on file features and Instant Deposit have been fully resolved.

Monitoring
Our engineering team has implemented a fix and all sellers should be able to save, charge or view a customer's card on file as normal. Instant Deposit is also available again.

Developers working with Square’s APIs should be able to create or charge cards on file.

We are continuing to monitor the situation closely and we’ll post another update here when this has been resolved.

We’re continuing to investigate the issues surrounding Card on File and Instant Deposit, and are actively working on a fix.

This also affects developers using Square's APIs when creating or charging cards on file.

We’re actively investigating an issue preventing sellers from being able to save, charge, and view customers with cards on file.

Some sellers are also experiencing difficulties using Instant Deposit at this time.
