The issue that caused some sellers to be unexpectedly logged out of their Point of Sale has been fully resolved. If you needed you can look up your existing Device codes, or create a new Device Code, from your online Square Dashboard.

Good news! Our engineering team has implemented a fix for the Device Code issues and login errors.
-For Android users, it may be necessary to recreate your Device Codes. -iOS users do not need to recreate Device Codes.
We'll continue to monitor progress and post a final update once we've confirmed that everything is fully resolved. Thank you!

Thank you for your patience. Our engineering team is continuing to work towards a resolution with Device Codes and log in issues. In the meantime, you can continue to create new Device Codes, or log in again with your original Device Code, as some sellers have had luck with both.

Our engineering team has identified the root cause of the unexpected log outs and Device Code issues. We are actively working on a resolution and we will continue to share updates as soon as we receive more information.
Some sellers are still having success with creating new Device Codes and logging in again with the new Code.

We're continuing to investigate the issues causing unexpected log outs and Device Code errors.
Some sellers have been able to sign back in with the same Device Code, and some sellers have been able to create a new Device Code to sign in.
You can find your Device Code on the Square Dashboard. Once you're signed into your account at squareup.com/login > select Account & Settings > Business > Devices. From here you can view the device codes for all of your Square apps.
You can also create a new Device Code from your Square Dashboard. Navigate to Account & Settings > Business > Devices > then click 'Create Device' > enter a Nickname and click 'Create' to generate your code.
